Today we had a midweek Rte to Tidbinbilla Deep Space Communications Complex.
I worked on getting STranger ready to go on this RTE, my first ride since Nabiac. I was up early and went out to check STranger was going to STart, which he did, so after coffee & meds I left home at 8.30 into 6 deg to hit the Hume Hwy south. I had a sensible ride down and arrived 6 mins before my eta at 11.39.
There parked in the visitors car park was Dallas's (Chops) black ST1300, so I dismounted and took off my helmet gloves and I remembered to turn the heated grips off and raced of to the loo's
. Dallas was seated out on the verandah sensibly sitting in the warm morning sun,so I greeted him then went and ordered coffee and a Bacon and Egg roll for Breakfast.
Terry (STroppy) arrived as my coffee was served and greeted us with smiles and a handshake. He then went and ordered his meal.
We sat in the sun and chatted about things we had been up to before heading off home.
I enjoyed the ride down and back and STranger did what he has become accustom to of late, actually getting there and back without issue.
