We have negotiated with the BIG4 Wooli some sensational accomodation deals  :runyay
With accomodation starting at $15 per night per person YOU HEARD ME !! $15 per night for hard accomodation......thats cheaper than camping  :eek The Beach huts will sleep 40 people in a combination of bedding arrangements with ajoinning internal door if required. The NEW amenities block is behind the Beach huts and hard ground parking is beside your accomodation.

This is the inside of the Victorian style Beach Hut.....not 5 Star in any way, but functional, dry and lockable.

They have a bar fridge and a TV.

Did I mention $15 per night per person including Linen.......that's dirt cheap !!

Hi everyone. We booked a riverside site for 4 nites. Raining very lightly atm.
Fished today. No luck. Another 10 days. Maybe fish for lunch or dinner tomorrow.

For me it is easy, for Theresa not so easy. Looks like I will need to keep going past Wooli and pick Theresa up from Coolangatta or get a ban loan for her to fly in and out of Grafton.

Glenn it's a long way off but it looks like Pauline will follow me in the car so if things line up for either Brisbane or Coolangatta we could pick up Theresa on the way through......

Depending on my employment future, if I come I'll be in the car also, and will be able to pick 1 or 2 up from the airport at Brisbane or Coolagatta.

Holding off on booking, until I know the outcome of management's decision, which should be any day now.

Just heard from the shift supervisor (Brad) who will contact you later today or tomorrow to take your booking Johnny  :like

The parks booking system wasn't recognising the "special" tarif we negotiated with the Big4 on the Beach Hut accomodation at $15 per head per night incl linen. The issue was only highlighted as Johnny was their first Beach Hut booking.

These huts sleep upto 4 ppl in shared accomodation.

I spoke with the Park today to see how bookings were progressing.....they have 16 bookings in various forms of Accomadation so far  :thumbs


Remember the cheap Beach House beds at $15 per night per person including linen.

These are a share arrangement with new clean amenities very close by and only a 25 metre walk to the massive camp kitchen where all the OzSTOC action will take place.

Julie from Big4 at Wooli juST called to make my booking for the 2017 Rally at their Wooli venue. She has fixed the booking problem now. :thumbs
I am booked in with the VERY Special price made for us in the Beach Huts dorm style @ the $15 p/n linen included, for the Friday,Saturday,Sunday and Monday nights, a very affordable $60 which allows me as a DSP recipient to be able to attend and be part of our National Rally, without putting STress on my pocket.
Julie gave a good description of the accommodation and facilities there, and was very welcoming. :clap
now guys  :phone and make your bookings without worry,  :thumb

Thanks Johnny, it is indeed an incredible budget accommodation offer that will have those taking up the offer right in the heart of the OzSTOC communal action for the event.

Each room has either a Queen and a double bunk bed OR 2x Double bunk beds.....small fridge/TV and some storage cupboards, and your linen is provided....linen is normally an extra cost, but your OzSTOC Rally team negotiated this into the deal for you all too.

I just sent the park an email asking about an unpowered site - don't really want to pay for something I'm not going to use.

Any power I might need can be supplied by the solar panel on the trailer which should be up and running well before then.

I rang today for Accommodation. I know a bit late but only beach huts left with single beds so Robyn and I booked accommodation a short walk away
We may have slept in a single bed 35 years ago when we were first married but a bit cramped at our age now

Due to not being able to forcast work etc I have left things a bit late so with the cabins all booked out Leanne & I have booked in up(down?) the road at Wooli River Lodges  :runyay :runyay

Due to our withdrawal from the NatRally, I have just cancelled my booking for the Wooli Hotel/Motel, which is right next door to the Caravan Park and is the venue for Saturday night's dinner.   I was booked in for Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sunday nights, so if you need accommodation and are quick, it's available.

I called the Wooli Big4 yesterday, enquired about the vacant two room cabin.  The response was, "Yes, it's $162 per night".  I'll stick with the Beachside Hut at around $100 per night less.
