Tank mounted cup holder ?...is there such a thing?
« on: October 26, 2019, 11:53:18 AM »
Before anyone goes off on a rant about safety, about "how can you do that with a full face..", I wouldn't do that, why would you bother, etc. Just know: I know,  I can, I have, I do, and I want to ..... when I am on my IBA rides.

Now .... drinking iced coffee and cool water requires some sort of cup holder and I was looking at positioning for the new ST1300 I'm going to be taking delivery of .... soon.

Is there an option for some sort of tank mounted contraption that can hold a bottle or stubby cooler for easy access when on those long straight stretches?

I'd like to not have one attached to my bars if possible.

Thanks heaps.

I’m pretty sure that RAM make  all the bits you are looking for. Johnny Appleseed caries a large range of RAM stuff.

The ram one I have seen seems to be a handlebar mounted system ...
Unless I am not searching correctly ..... which is highly probable  :CB--

If you have a clear link or search term I'd he ever so grateful.

This is the one I was thinking of.  I haven’t actually checked the dimensions though.

I have seen one on a 1300. Unfortunately, don't know who it was, I don't think an OzSTOC member.

Or

And you are good to go.

What about a small tank bag fitted with some insulating foam or cooler bags?

Hey Dave I saw a pic of a bottle holder on the right hand fairing with bottle and plastic tubing long enough to reach mouth.. Can not recall where i saw it though. It was on the Iron butt fbook page i think.. not necessarily on an ST though.
