I will take the tent but also wondering if there is a spare room. Having trouble with data at the back of the park at Wooli so may not be able to respond promptly.

Add Sandra to Shillas, but logistics to work out, so still a maybe. We would probably be arriving at the RTE, then an overnight on the Saturday. A lot of variables to consider from us due to both new & some volatile work considerations. Plus an anniversary & birthday the week before may means a full on schedule.

There is a reasonable Camp Kitchen, but if the weather is crook, it's pretty exposed.
Pizza and wine in someone's cabin as plan "B" perhaps?

Hi folks
As advised earlier, I'm riding over with Julie. We are taking a couple of extra days by staying with friends at Wirrega on the Friday night and another couple of friends at Casterton on Sunday night.
Last Thursday I rode over to Melbourne for a cousin's funeral and went via Bordertown, Nhill and Horsham. I must admit, of recent times I've thought SA's country roads had deteriorated somewhat, but what I rode on and experienced last Thursday has made me appreciate the SA roads so much more.
The Vic country roads I rode on over the past 4 days are a bloody disgrace and if the state of the roads hasn't been a significant contributor to the death toll of motorcycle riders recently I'd be very surprised. The state of the road from Nhill to Horsham has made me reconsider whether I'm prepared to take Julie on the trip at all. At this stage I'm considering Bordertown to Frances to Goroke to Horsham with Julie. Has anyone taken this route of late and what are the road conditions like.

I said the same re Vic roads after my 2016 easter trip to Horsham and Portland. I think it was route 400 and the Henty Highway.

It's all depending when I start work for the harvest. Will advise when I know either way.
