I should be able to make lunch but I doubt I'll be able to stay overnight.

I considered the Murray River Queen as the place for lunch but all I could see for the menu was Asian cuisine so I stayed with the hotel.

The hotel has dining from 12:00PM until 2:00 pm and 6pm until 8:30 pm on weekends and River Queen does lunch and evening dining as well. so there is some choice for those staying overnight

Its looking very unlikely I will be able to escape the limitations of life in Melbourne for this one. We have a new ish 2 yo dog who is enrolled in an obedience course which starts this week and I hadnt allowed that I will need to be present most weeks. So enjoy everyone and I will see you at a later rte or on the road.

I more than likely shall be going to Murray Bridge and following the river up to Swan Reach, then Maggea to Waikerie. Time permitting make do the Cadell and Morgan ferries.

Will see you there (Verdun), thats the route we had intended taking. We plan to ride through to Morgan after lunch and overnight at the pub and then a cruisy ride home Sunday, probably via Mannum.
