White LED Strobe
« on: January 10, 2016, 08:08:38 AM »
Yesterday, while driving between Mt Nebo and Mr Glorious, one of the many bikes coming the other way on his own, had a bright white LED Strobe on the front of his bike above his headlight.

My brother who was sitting in the back seat noticed it as well. It certainly stood out.

I'm not sure what it was, whether it was a Cycling one or an affirmative one, but it was very effective.
Cheers,
Gary

I'm assuming you mean a constant white light, not a strobe light which is one that flashes.
A.
I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.

Nope. It was strobing. About one pulse every 2 seconds. If was very bright and very effective at getting the black bike noticed.
Cheers,
Gary

Sounds like a bicycle accessory . . . Might be worth considering . . I wonder about the legality . .

Legality would probably be zero, but you can modulate the low beam.. as long as goes steady at night.
