you never know what you have done, might just inspire other people who would never have thought of doing that.....

For My My Favourite improvement at the Moment was adding the Dash Shelf that Tipsy made for me for my ST1100

The reason i did it was that i was getting annoyed with stuff mounted on my handle bars as i kept knocking them and they just always seemed to be in the way.

the good thing about the shelf is that it means my phone is away from water, it is in a stable position, and it is visible to me, rather than jammed away in a tank bag

At the moment the only thing i have on it is the Mount for my Iphone, but i am Also going to mount my GPS on the other side, once i get the new mount.

For me it would have to be the trailer and towbar/wiring being fitted within the first month of ownership. Actually we had the trailer before the bike.

For touring one and two-up the trailer makes it so much easier than finding ways to fit all in/on the bike. All your gear is locked up, the trailer lid can be used as a table when camped beside the road somewhere. With the eski on board we shop every day or two and avoid the high priced roadhouses for food along the way.

Not on tour you can always combine a rides with a shopping trip like we do every two weeks or so.

Hmmmmmmmm. Well the Dash Shelf, Garmin Zumo and the throttle Lock all come in at number one.
Zumo on the dash, on, tunes coming out, throttle lock on and tapping out some tunes on the Tank Bag at 2 in the morning and having a sing. Hmmmmm wonder what the poor people are doing :thumbs

That's just silly!

But you knew that   :rofl

Yep me too

and ill also go with my HID spot lights not the replacement kits we seem to be hearing bad things about. The stand alone set.

Next going to suppliment my lighting with some LED spots just got to find those 1300 police light brakets to put the HIDs up high and the LEDs down low under the mirrors.

The starcom will be a good thing when i get it set up, and the powerlet is good and the gear indicator is also real good when i forget i got another gearand scala rider G4 and the ram balls and the iphone cradel and i think i should have got a bigger bag.

Mate as a hint and from experiance mount the GPS right in the middle. That way you look straight over it and only have to look down to see it and you can easily push the whatever withthe left hand

just got to find those 1300 police light brakets

Make your own Gavo. Here is one I knocked up in about an hour with scrap bits. Its only a rough prototype, and needs a few bits to finish off. Its an over and under bracket

Mate, if I welded up something like that, it would look like a chicken shat in the gaps.    :eek

For me it is the Delkevic exhaust :thumbs

When I got the ST1300 (Went to buy a helmet left with a new bike :grin) I found that cars weren’t noticing me and at least once a week someone would try to merge into me :cuss

Since putting the exhaust on the beaST I haven’t had anyone try to run me over :runyay… and they sound awesome :wink1 :thumb

Dunno.

Happy with all of them.

GPS, Heated Grips, Spot Lights, Daytime running lights, Vstream screen, Sheep-skin and various others.

I suppose my favourite would be the one I see the need to use at the time :thumb

When we haul the bike in it's trailer behind the rv I move the sensors temporarily to one wheel each side of the trailer (twin axle). Don't want to be one of those who gets onto the motorway only to get a catastrophic flat and a tipped trailer. I figure one wheel each side will keep the trailer safely upright.

These have to be one of the most valuable spends!
