Update Peoples!

We are waiting on Colour swatches for the orange, just so we can double check the colour, and then we are getting a sample made,

it will take a few of weeks to do the sample, it will then have to do a trip around the country to get looked at in the various states for viewing (we cant get it to everyone, but planning an RTE in each State once we get the sample)

After that we will be looking at a month or two delivery after all monies are paid, i think it would be realistic that we have them by august/september (it could be sooner, depending on how quick we approve the sample)

This is the hardest part with doing custom work, it takes time  :thumb although i want it now!!!

Just had a wee thought STreak,
Different manufacturers of any clothing product might have a bit of difference in sizes,
So, I am normally a 2xl but I'm sure the jacket I have just now might be a 4xl,
So as a lot of the club will be buying "blind" what happens if we order one toobig or too small,
Poss need to give actuall sizes, in numbers rather tha s m or l ect.

we asked everyone to give a rough size, just so we had an idea of the sizing range needed.

there is going to be a full sizing guide, we just have to get the sample sorted, Mark is very good at all this side of things, he is going to tell everyone where to measure and soforth to make sure the jacket we get fits, We are going to get the sample made in a Large, as it is the most common size being asked for, so we can check as well.

We are doing this in baby steps and double checking along the way  :thumb

Does this put a fly in the ointment?

http://www.bikeme.tv/index.php/congratulations-victoria-youve-murdered-motorcycling/

Nope still good

Wear a high visibility vest or jacket whilst riding (This is what will kill motorcycling, but that has always been the Victorian government’s goal.)

Edit: This only applies to Learners

 :hijacked

but ......    if any one seriously thinks riding with a high viz jacket or vest being compulsory thinks it will KILL riding then they are seriously not riders in the first place.    :OldMan

I would ride even if it were mandatory to wear a Pink TuTu as it will eventually become the fashion statement of a MOTORCYCLIST and therefor by default become cool and bad ass!      8) :o Wot thuh

You know .... the colour pink was originally used as a boys colour as the red hue was considered masculine and blue was in fact a feminine colour.    :CB--     google is our friend.

even though it is not as COOL as black etc I still ride with some sort of high viz apparatus cause my skin is worth more than being cool...... and so is my bike.

Just mho.

:OldMan   old man rant finished ......

now lets get back to the jackets in question.

looking forward to getting the price and the size charts.

TOTAL 71 Jackets So far!

There has been great input to creating this jacket. It will be great touring jacket suitable for the broadest range of climatic conditions and to suit a large range of rider.
This jacket will have a high amount of well placed ventilation in addition it will have 2 removable linings – a Breathable Reissa waterproof lining and a thermal lining.
The  jacket will be of high quality and perform excellently for its purpose.

1.   Touring style length as per image.

2.   Cordura 600D with heavier weight Cordura at elbows up to the shoulder area, For added protection. Risk Areas  1200 Denier Polyester MATT1200 Denier Polyester MATTT.

3.   With Dual density CE protection, back, shoulders elbows for impact protection.

4.   Increased ventilation provided by 3 pairs,  -6 zips at the front of the jacket - 2 pairs at the chest region and one pair at the bicep region which will be particularly effective because it would be outside the faired region. There will be 2 pairs of zips at the area to encourage the warm to flow. At the wrist to the elbow there is a vent of approximately 250mm. Of course for ventilation to function correctly the 2 lining would be removed.

5.  In addition to the outer shell there is actually 3 linings. The mesh lining which remains in the jacket.  The Waterproof removable Reissa lining. The Thermal Lining which is weight of the quilt is 100 Grms is also removable.
6.   Plenty of pockets 6 pockets at the front, the rear pocket, 2 inside pockets and 2 inside pockets when the lining is removed.

7.   Scotchlite for night time visibility across the chest and the back rear

8.   The collar to be sueded fleece collar.

9.   The neck will be Velcro fastening.

10.   The arms & forearms to be adjustable so the jacket is close fitting.

11.   The waist fitting will be adjustable so it will be close fitting.

12.   The back of the shoulder to the side seam 5 cm. action panel to enhance comfort.

13. The neck gator as shown in the image will not be included.

14. The jacket will have the OzStoc embroidered badge on the left side of the chest.

15. The colours to be as specified by OzStoc. The exact layout of the coloured panels will match the actual design /cut of the jacket as per image.

15. We will have a colour swatch in the next ten days or so. The orange that we are considering selecting is referred as Repsol orange. Which is more subdued than some. It is felt that for some who would like the jacket to be brighter there is the option of wearing a hi Vis vest over the jacket.

Once consensus is reached a sample will be ordered and viewed for final approval.

We will have pricing available in a couple of days. The pricing of the jacket is based on an order being placed of at least 40 units. The orders will be confirmed by payment in full for the jacket.
