Time has come for me to part with my 2008 ST1300 ex police bike, I just don’t get out on it enough to warrant keeping it.
At the moment it is in a Fluro livery where police wave at me all the time, it is equipped with multiple strobes lights in non police colours (white and amber)
It has led headlights, switch back led indicators and led running lights, it has been converted and has a pillion seat, it has a 100w pa/airhorn which is guaranteed to move traffic when filtering, it has rear crash bars fitted, heated grips, non standard horn and remote head uhf, Front and rear tyres fitted 500kms ago, new battery fitted 3 months ago and only approximately 93000kms.
All this for offers around $7500 or naked without livery and lights for offers around $6500.
Photos sent on request.
Thanks for looking

do the police bikes come with ABS??
From somewhere around 2003 to 2004 onwards, all St1300s came with ABS.

Still a fair question, as there were reports that some Police forces scorned ABS since they have superior training and stopping techniques.

I'm guessing the 2014 is on the compliance plate which makes it a real asset, as the last models produced and sold here were plated 2012.

The civilian models were stopped but the Police model continued :thumbsup

I for one would pay more for a 2014 plated ST1300. The problem being, if they are ex-Police, they will have higher kays than I am looking for.

:Like: in my case 82.000km and is in perfect condition not a scratch on it..

The best ones are the ex-police bikes that never made it to the police :grin
