The rain for Wednesday is 10-20mm, Thursday 5-10mm, Friday is now 5-10mm Pete. Saturday should be dry but 1-5mm Sunday and 1-5mm Sunday. We had a sunny day today but bitter cold wind.
The wood fire will be going to keep us warm

I'm concerned about getting through, with road restrictions or cautions already showing at Rankins Springs, Carathool and around Narrandera. I'll make some calls and checks on Thursday.

DAY 1: arrival at Warwick and joining OzSTOC friends. Met with Shiney and Carrol at the Floating Cafe at Grantham and made our way down the Clifton Road and through Allora to Warwick. Some retrobates were already in to it when we arrived. .. some pics...

Is this a subtle (or perhaps not so subtle) request for some assistance from Melbourne members, re. airport pick-up / accomodation? If so, I may be in a position to assist. Send a PM if some assist is wanted, if I'm reading this wrong, let me know.

Regardless, as I won't be away what is the time and date for a Melbourne get together (assuming there is one)?

I was just looking at the last date on the hat being the 5th and knowing the ferry departs from Melbourne I was hoping everyone will be in Melbourne the night before. I'll be landing around 4:30 to 5:30 pm.

I've got a business meeting first thing on the 5th and then fly out on the afternoon of the 5th.

Work will be paying for accommodation at the airport, however, I'm not averse to a lift to where ever everyone else is, as long as I'm not too late back to the Airport, as it is an important meeting.

Carrol and myself are home safe after an awesome time with the Diesel TT Tour at Warwick.

Here are some pics (I will do up some video and other pics in a few days)

We met up with Diesel and rode down to Warwick

We purchased some drinks then made our way to PC's place (And what an awesome place it is )

The next morning it appeared that there had been an issue with Diesel's bike overnight

But it was all sorted out and Diesel had his QLD Flag photo

After this we had out group photo before the tour continued on (I'll crop and enlarge these photos later, but for now just click on them to see the photos in a larger size)

This was a ride I just really didn't want to miss

Luckily I was able get the screen and the helmet into a position that took most of the pressure off my neck so we decided to give it a go

As of right now I'm feeling okay (Hopefully it stays this way)

As for the ride, it was awesome for us to get out on the bike again and go for one last ride with QLD Diesel

(Riding with Tassie Diesel might not be the same... it'll probably be a bit strange riding with a bloke that has grown a second head )

I am now unable to get to West Wyalong for Diesel's ride south. I was prepared to confront the tough weather and possible flooding with a major detour, but my old Dad had a stroke early last night and remains very ill in Flinders Medical Centre. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers over the next couple of critical days.
