Yep, Jim is that determined to go that he has had a sidecar installed. The Side car has a fuel cell underneath.. Fuel problem solved. The Side car has a boot that holds plenty of luggage ..... Problem solved.

And it has a comfortable riding position ...... Problem solved.

Amazing....

That's around 68 on the list, but how mant ST's does that involve? I reckon we would be still a long way short of the 75 - 80 needed for a BIG photo. Someone with more knowledge that me will have a better idea.

In the meantime, I'll put the hard-word on nigel1702, from discussions on Saturday night at Metung, he sounds pretty interested in all things ST.

2013 Rally 51 People, 37 ST's, 1 goldwing, 1 BMW R1150RT (Middleton South Australia)

2012 Rally 24 People 20ST's 1 BMW5 (Blackheath, New South Wales)

Going on a rough count (by me) 2014 (Ballarat Victoria) so far we are looking at:

68 People, 48 ST's (could be a couple either way)

We still have several months to go, and we are still spreading the word Far and Wide that this event is on, as there is still a whole lot of ST Owners out there who dont know about us or our national rally, we even have member who have not seen this is on, and are surprised this is happening!

just have to keep telling everyone and promoting it

I'm in for the rally too. Got my holidays approved. 7 days off gives me 3 weeks of holidays to do some touring around on the trip.

OK, I've done a test pack for the Ballarat Rally seeing Mrs Sabie is coming this year and I think I can just about fit it all on.

Streak that's also 1 Suzuki boulevard C50T and 1 Honda CTX1300 (Fury) and Sidecar you'd better include in the others section. Old Jim has spent over $5,000 on his Fury so far so he can come. He's out every weekend honing his skills with the sidecar getting ready for Ballarat.

TWO spare tyres seems a bit of an over-kill. And I'd worry about that weight way up high. Apart from that, it looks like an eminently practical setup, if you really love canoeing.

G'day all.
I've finally booked in to the Ballarat Caravan Park from 21st - 24th March. Looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll be bringing along my travelling buddy Len, who has ridden with me to Darwin a couple of times. Unfortunately, he doesn't have an ST but he does own a couple of Hondas. I hope he will be welcome.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing you all at the Rally.

Hi Don, Len is more than welcome! we have a number of people without ST's coming, and have come along on previous years, so we are not worried at all
