IT WORKS!!! OK...but first lets just back this thread up a tad.
Earlier on in this thread I made mention of the fact that I (in 2014), tried an INOX battery reconditioner in my 1997 1100 which I have had since new (even assisted Reg Jeffery (vale) get it outta the box))...it has a compliance plate, May 1997 and on or around 2006/7, I had cause to replace its original battery. I did so with another Japanese made Yuasa. And in 2014, a cold Victorian winter was causing it to struggle starting the bike in the early morns, so I gave the Inox a go.
This arvo, the bike having been laid up since June 2016, had had its carburetors well and truly drained, it required approx 30-40 seconds of continual cranking before the engine sparked into life. Hence it has been starting and running as per the norm.
So Bill, Brock et al...reckon this INOX WORKS! And works well, in good made battery to begin with, at least.
Not bad eh, for a 20 y.o. bike on its second battery ;-)
Cheers the can :-)
