Dec 1993, when I walked out of the main gate at RAAF Richmond for the last time  (drove actually) Beard has only come off once since then, and that was for "Shave for a cure" beard, mo, and hair all came off...

Its a great way to hide, as no-one new who I was afterward..

In 1977 I started growing a beard and have not shaved it off since
But I do run the Clippers through it monthly to keep it short.
I have tried to grow it longer but it starts to annoy me
So off it comes. So my wife and kids have never seen me clean shaven  :grin

I had a Ned Kelly for a while in the 1980s, and a full but shorter beard later.   It came off, and I'd grow a goatee whenever I was on leave, which has become permanent since I finished work.

I have had a full beard since about 18 yrs old, I trim it when it annoys me. I think I have been cleaned skinned about 10 times in 30 yrs, only till it grows back. the laST 8 yrs I have done the Worlds GreateST shave and I lose both my hair and beard, but it grows back, usually with more greys
I usually get half-head n half-beard shaved so I can do another shave event and more donation,  people think I'm STrange for the week in between events

After having a badly infected face from an ingrown whisker in about 1972 and I have had a full beard ever since except for having a full shave once about 1991.
So for me it is a case of not shaving rather than growing a beard.
Theresa has not seen me without a beard.

Starting growing mine when I started my apprenticeship in 1981 and never been without it since. It's gone from bright red to white over the years so I look like Santa Claus. My missus won't let me shave it off.

I stared with a beard back in 1986. Mostly it was because I kept getting shaving rashes and ingrown hairs with by baby skin (well it was back then!). Since then I have had a reasonable length a lot, but lately trimmed a lot shorter or even fully shaved once in a while but it is back in a week. After a week away and no trimming I might leave it grow a bit. Early results are tha any red timge I had seems to now be an elegant white blond... :think1 :OldMan

I'm surprised by the % at this stage. The beards have it. Come on you clean skins. Post away.

Had a moustache for about 43 or 44 years. Only been off a couple of times for a couple of days. One time I took it off and my daughter at about 3or 4 ran away and wouldn't look at me. Beard only on holidays and discovered I don't like them

Discharged from National Service in April 1999 and stopped shaving, shaved only a couple of times since . . . Usually leave the tash in place . . . But not always . . .

Started growing at 17, and just couldn't be bothered since. Run the clipper through once a month to cut down on the 'mature blond' that seems to keep coming through.
