Some people say there's 2 kinds of pirates.

There's the "Yo Ho Ho" kind, or the "Aarrggh" type.

Now there's a third group, holding your own photos to ransom: "$400 a year, or we destroy your images".

I'd be astonished if there are folk who don't have their originals.  I never saw it as a "cloud storage", purely as a way to give the photos a web address that could be used to display photos fully rather than as "attachments".  The humbug that Alan has spent time dealing with is going back through every photo he'd ever posted and uploading it to a new host then deriving its new web address to replace the one in, for instance, this forum.

While this is based on fact rather than simply a joke, it has elicited the funniest lines I've read in ages.  I was still giggling when I hit the sack last night thinking of more possibilities.

In the UK, some supermarkets have admitted that there is horse meat in their home cooked burgers. Even places like Burger King have had to admit that there are "small amounts" of horse meat in their burgers.

Tesco is a big supermarket chain in the UK. Within hours of the news that Tesco's 'all beef hamburgers' contained 30% horse meat, these quips hit the Internet:

I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse. I guess Tesco just listened!

Anyone want a burger from Tesco? Yay or neigh?

Not entirely sure how Tesco is going to get over this hurdle.

Had some burgers from Tesco for supper last night. I still have a bit between my teeth.

A woman has been taken into hospital after eating horse meat burgers from Tesco. Her condition is listed as stable.

Tesco are now testing all their vegetarian burgers for traces of unicorn.

"I've just checked the Tesco burgers in my freezer ... "AND THEY'RE OFF!"

Tesco is now forced to deny the presence of zebra in burgers, as shoppers confuse barcodes for serving suggestions.

I said to my spouse, "These Tesco burgers give me the trots."

"To beef or not to beef, that is equestrian"

A cow walks into a bar. Barman says, "Why the long face?" Cow says "Illegal ingredients are coming over here stealing our jobs!"

I hear the smaller version of those Tesco burgers make great horse d'oeuvres.

These Tesco burger jokes are going on a bit. Talk about flogging a dead horse.

Since they're selling the meat wrapped in plastic, is that technically a "Trojan Horse?"

Instead of choosing "rare, medium or well done, it's now Win, Place or Show"

At first, I thought, "Oh great, I've been saddled with another email to forward, but something spurred me on."

It did give me something to do in spare time for over a year or so and not something I intend doing again. I doubt that I was the only person on the planet that updated their photo links either.

I still get the annoying over bandwidth email from Photo****et but just ignore it.

What's wrong with horse meat?  Kumamoto bariki is a dish not to be scoffed at.

Long weekend for us in South Australia but not going anywhere due to a hold up in the transport chain somewhere meaning the new rear tyre for our 1300A never arrived when expected.

Heather and Tammie saw these down the main street today.

We saw one parked up in the back of the local police station yesterday and was probably one of them.

Also wondering if they're in town for this over the weekend https://www.ticketebo.com.au/link-up-at-the-burg.html?fbclid=IwAR3Q-hPIh7MSkIg48yxIH2jqZnccc7CEKFDFokyGli-3HZsSad4ix4Xh74E

Which is why Stinky Pete has such a traffic calming effect when out on his ride.

They certainly seem to flock together.

The drive/fan belt was successfully changed over on Friday.

Had some help from mac55 though to be more accurate it was I who helped him. Thanks to him for the help.

The old belt had a few splits in it but surprisingly no cracks. No idea how long the belt has been on the car but we've had it 9 years and it's a 2005 Territory

They're PR5s, hence the leap in price, or so I'm told.

Apparently there are still some folks out there who won’t ride a motorcycle because they see them as being dangerous.

Ruth and I just returned from 4 weeks away in Victoria. It started with the annual CMA national run at Anglesea, and then we did our own thing for as long as I felt I could get away with without being labelled as ‘dead wood’ by my staff at work.

8000 Kays in 4 weeks with no incidents apart from one short conversation with a very friendly NSW police officer. 10 minutes after walking in the door Ruth managed to gouge her shin badly on the corner of the dishwasher door.

So ... my advice to anyone who owns a dishwasher or other modern appliance .... get out and have some real fun before the blasted, evil thing kills you in your sleep.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.
