  • Extremely nice person, angelic even....
Friday 14 March, leave work, pack bag.  Saturday 15 March, Darwin airport at 1am to catch the "red eye", arrive Melbourne 7am.  That night attend uncle's 60th birthday party, Sunday 16 March attend Aust F1GP.  Then kill 5 days visiting family/friends before picking up the bike at lunchtime Friday 21 March and riding to Ballarat.

It's only 1737 km from Brissie...
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Departing Atherton, Far North QLD on the 17th, planning on arriving down there on the 21st, departing morning of the 24th to be back home by the 28th. Going to be some long days on the bikes, but hopefully it will be an enjoyable trip :)

7000km round trip. The ST will be fine.. its the tag-along other half and her scooter i'm a little worried about :)
