National OzSTOC Rally Friday Night Feast
« on: February 06, 2014, 11:12:19 AM »
For anyone who is arriving Friday Night and would like a meal at the Caravan Park

We have organised catering from the local Country Roasts who will deliver to the park.

You only have one option from the Country Roasts menu, which is:

Vegi Pack

1 serve each of Potato, Pumpkin, Caulie, Scallop Potato, Carrot, peas, and corn
With your choice of  Lamb, Pork, Beef and chicken

$10

If you are going to want the Vegi Pack, please can you fill out the above poll so we can get accurate numbers for them.

If you don't want this the is The Red Lion pub. A short walk from the park.

Edit I forgot to include the price

The Red Lion was a regular eat, drink and stay venue for us a few years ago.  Meals were good, beer was cold and the wine list extensive.  What I really remember though is the bar and waiting staff.

Us guys didn't take too much notice at first, ie. until wives and partners pointed out that the management employment policy must've indicated that only personnel meeting criteria such as blond, young, buxom and female were eligible for employment.

I might just have to check this out again and again and again .......

How do we vote for two meals?

Not two for me, but one for Mrs W and one for me!!!    (Just in case of any dumbass remarks.)

I'm declining to vote.

As yet I have no idea what I want tonight never mind 6 weeks time. No doubt I'll be having something from one of the branded take-away stores or similar.

That's fine... this option is for people who don't want to leave the park. There are also plenty of take-a-way options. All the usual suspects

Of course, the usual fast food outlets are there. There are usually deals to be found online, shoppadocket.com.au is just one example. For those that aren't familiar with it, simply type in a postcode and pick a category  :beer

At this stage I'm thinking about 7-8pm.

Just keep in mind guys for those wanting to arrange their own Friday night meal. We'll be converging at the Park for the meet and greet and to go over some things for the ride the next day.

I have voted for one beef, just to even the numbers up but would be happy with any of the four. Theresa is vego so she will have the veges with no meat or gravy. How about a vegetarian voting box?

Does one need to pre-order tee shirts, or just pick and pay whence you get there??
Will there be an export tax?

Hi Joe. The shirts are purchased for 10 bucks at the 'Meet n Greet' around 5pm (not pre-paid or ordered).  As to export tax, I guess that depends on exactly how much material you are trying to take out of the country!     :eek              :crackup
