Title: Sending Private Messages

I've been trying to send a PM but where I do I get this response.

"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

I just tried to send a test PM and got the same message.  It seems that PM's might be down at the moment.

The messages are still going through even with the "forbidden" error popping up... :think1

Yep, something is amiss with the PM front end, I think I may pass this on up the chain..

That's good to know.  Well now you know why I sent it three times.  I thought they all failed.

Instagram stopped showing notifications when the news sites went down and as it's owned by facebook wondered if the two incidents were related.

I tried unchecking the "save a copy in my outbox" tickbox and it seemed to go through ok.

Just sent a coupla messages, one with box 'ticked', one without.  Got error message on both.  No idea if either got through, a PM, call or txt from recipitent would be appreciated to confirm either way.

Edit:  Bcc'd both checked and unchecked PM's to myself, got 'em both - about 25 minutes after I sent 'em.

I experienced the same problem when PMing about the pipes. The receiver did get the messages.

I was reluctant to send anymore 'spam' messages, But I got all your replies, ticked or not.
