Given that Dayboro is under water at the moment, I'm assuming this RTE will be dependant on whether A) the rain stops and B) the bakery recovers.

If the conditions are bad the RTE will be cancelled, however if they are open for business I'm sure they will be happy to see us :thumbsup

From the Dayboro Bakery Facebook page...

"Dayboro Bakery will reopen tomorrow at 5am!! (Monday)
We had to throw quite a lot of product away due to the power outage and lost some of our flour reserves in the flood. Therefore, we may not  have every single slice and cake available tomorrow but we will have bread and pies! Thanks so much for your wonderful support of our business and staff.  See you all tomorrow! (Monday 28th February)".


The real trick will be the roads of course, with a heap of them around the area full of potholes and damages, so if you're going to this RTE, be safe!

I'll be there on 4 wheels.

Whilst it was warm, and there were a few big potholes on the way there, it was good to see everyone who could make it.

Just as I was about to leave Tim turned up, so I stayed a bit longer for a catchup.

Then the clouds started to look a bit heavy, so I bolted home before the storms hit.

Thankyou everyone that was able to make the RTE, it was great to catch up :thumbsup

Unfortunately Carrol wasn't feeling well and the heat knocked her around a bit so we headed off shortly after everyone arrived :'(

Anyway, we did enjoy the time we were there and are looking forward to the next RTE :runyay

Sorry that you and Carrol weren’t able to stay. Glad you got home safely though.  I hope Carrol got over it quickly.

 It was a very hot day, and most of us didn’t stick around very long.
