Just like 2011 we had water in our house again
Water comes from neighbours
Lucky the rain stopped when it did
Looks like I will have to do a bit more work on drainage
Got a plan just got to find someone to do it

430mm here in last 2 days, almost 2/3 of our annual average rainfall, recon we will get to 500mm

Can wade across the river that is our driveway (50+cm deep, 50m wide) so vehicles are parked up the hill on the road

I got 2 fellows around this afternoon who have sorted the drainage for now
They will come back when everything dries up and finish it off

My friend across the creek (less than 1 km away) in our suburb has a weather station, and these are his  rain totals (midnight to midnight figures).

27 Feb    611 mm
26 Feb    280 mm
25 Feb    228 mm
24 Feb    11.5 mm
23 Feb     64.5 mm
Total 1195 mm

The 26th is a good year out here. The 27th is two good years...
