The Man Who Built a World-Beating Racebike in His Garage

I've always been fascinated by the "Britten" motorcycle and have been lucky enough to check a few of them out when I've been to New Zealand.
One located in the Wellington Museum and the others were at "Classic Motorcycle Mecca" in Invercargill.

 



Anyhow, the actual reason for this post was that I came across this YouTube video on John Britten and his amazing bikes...

MCN exclusively ride the legendary Britten 1000, a triumph of cottage-industry race engineering built in a shed by New Zealander John Britten in the early '90s and raced at the Isle of Man TT.
