It doesn't look like anyone knows, but I think it would be reasonable to assume that the organisers will arrange for the shirts to match the order.
So would that mean if I order one shirt, I would get size S; two shirts size SM; three would get me size M, etc.
Why would I want six shirts all the same?

Not sure if I follow that logic.

I think it's reasonable to assume, if you order a small, you get a small; order a medium, get a medium; a large, get large; and so on.

I rang up and cancelled our accommodation at the Big 4 caravan park this morning
It is going to cost me the deposit $167.83 to cancel
So be aware and it is written on the deposit invoice
Never heard of it before
So if someone is chasing accommodation there is another cabin available

Leo, is the booking transferrable?

Also, being pedantic, is it written on the invoice or the receipt?

I seem to recall, some cancellations were offered a credit.  It's shame that Big4, or at least some parks, aren't more flexible with refunds or credits.  In the end, it's likely to inflict more long-term pain on them through the damage to their reputation and some (perhaps like both of you) never using Big4 again.  Sometimes these people forget who is buttering their bread.

Re. a credit, I was offered one in 2021, deferred a decision on that to the last minute, luckily we had a COVID lockdown breakout and I (and a few others) attended the OzSTOC Not-the-NatRally at Mudgee, and pretty good time was held by all.   For those that missed these earlier.

Looking on Booking.com it appears most Motels in Mudgee have free cancellation...

This might be of interest, Leo...and anyone else that is looking at cancelling.  :think1

Cancellation fees
Your ability to claim cancellation costs from a
customer depends on certain factors. If you charge
a cancellation fee, booking fee or administrative
charge, it should not be excessive; otherwise, it may
be regarded as an unfair contract term. You should
consider limiting the fee to the reasonable costs
associated with making the booking and, if relevant,
preparing the accommodation for the customer’s
arrival, or reserving services for their use.
If the guest has paid you a deposit, then cancels
the booking without a good reason (for example,
if they just change their mind), you will usually be
able to keep the deposit depending on the terms
of the contract.
Generally, a fair deposit should not be more than
10 per cent of the total cost of the accommodation
or service booked, unless your potential loss or
inconvenience justifies a higher amount. Otherwise,
such a higher amount may be seen as a pre-payment.
Pre-payments are refundable, minus any actual or
reasonable costs you may have incurred before the
booking was cancelled.

And they'll rent the place out to one of us and get paid double for one night.  Pretty good racket, when they know we're going to book the place out.

While I can't make it to Mudgee for the NatRally this year I do hope I can pay Mudgee a visit sometime down the track and I know where I won't be staying!  :whistle

I travel a lot within Australia and find that conditions vary greatly from pay on arrival to having to pay for at least the first night in full months ahead. Mudgee was happy to turn my booking into a credit each time the rally dates changed.

Cancellation fees

It is a hard one, I see two cases:-
1. They have turned down another booking because they were full and now end up with your room empty some sort of charge is reasonable
2. They turned down another booking because they were full but get another booking in place of yours it would be reasonable to get all your deposit back.

Just my thoughts before one boycotts them.

I think it depends on which destination and which agency is used.  Some destinations won't offer a refund, whereas some agencies will, and vice versa.

Personally. I use Booking.com more often than not, found them very reliable and now as a regular user, often get a discount.  Never had a bad experience, most good and once in NZ an excellent outcome.  This was when the destination couldn't process my debit card payment, accused me of providing the wrong number, then sent emails with so much vitriol that I sent them to Booking.com.  They settled the matter by bouncing the destination off Booking.com and cancelled my payment altogether because I was a trusted, reliable member.  Good service from my point of view, and reason for me to stay with them.

In the end, what ever floats your boat, horses for courses, etc ...

Just checked with Booking.com, they don't have a refund option with BIG4 Mudgee Holiday Park.

Since we're off on this tangent, I'll agree that Booking dot com have been good for me.  However they are tough on their accommodation providers in terms of the fee they extract, so it's not uncommon to see a notice at reception saying they'll give you a discount if you'll book directly with them rather than via Booking.com.
That said, their website is so very helpful I keep using them.

My 2c worth. Seems a bit naughty not to be able to cancel a booking, months out and lose the lot.
But that is the world we live in. They call it Greed!
Not very ethical.
I also booked directly with them, ONLY FOR THE BENEFITS that a booking exists.
May also look at other options.

See ya there. :spank
