Love to Kev but I think I've missed the boat  :(  I'm going for a run too! I will compare notes with you tonight.
Have a good ride.

Dry, Sunny and 16 degrees. Perfect day for riding. Did my "two ferries" run out along the Hawkesbury River, across the Lower Portland Ferry, up on to the Putty Road for a hamburger at the Colo Heights Road house then back down across the Hawkesbury at the Sackville Ferry and back home along Old Northern Road. Back home at 4pm after 3 1/2 Hour 200Km round trip (including lunch stop and natter with all the other bikers at Colo Heights). I know which ride I would have rather been on!  :)
This is some of the other happy bikers sharing the great day and the Lower Portland Ferry.
Cheers

I love those Hawkesbury ferries.  Especially the Wiseman's one which is free (never been on one before the National Run).
Gotta love "free"

This tickled my fancy:

Hi Kev,
I think there are six separate ferries running across the Hawkesbury at various places up and down the river and they are all free. Your GPS pic is cute. I assume you didn't take it too seriously and actually waited for the ferry to arrive.

It's Bill, "Biggles".

Re the pic...  nah, I saw the pink line, got a run-up and launched.  Then I saw the gate and decided to wait for the ferry.   :p

Shows how smart the Zumo is- see the icon in the top left of the screen.
