From what I have read each country did not necessarily get all the colours available for each year. As we are near the bottom of the Honda food chain who knows definitely what we got. I have never seen the metalic silver one, or the gold special one (it had the different wheel colour as well).
The actual colour code is on a sticker underneath the seat (at least on the ST11s - on the cross rail - so write it down if you want an exact colour match). Seems like a sticker in the pannier on other bikes (thanks Dave).
Some of the colours are close to each other but different. For example Honda has quite a few whites but they are all a bit different. NH-138 Shasta white is very popular so I believe, being the police 'white" It does match with any commonly available white, as it is a bit off white. Paint places can mix up exact matces but it will cost. Tasmania get a special mention! It will be interesting to see the actual Honda codes we got in Australia. We should get organised and save it in a sticky somewhere......
