Thanks Diesel. My ST only came with one key. It was a major deal getting a STealership to supply another.
It's not an issue at all!!

I wish I'd known all that when I had the Blue ST.  MY biggest worry with that bike was having only one key, and Brisbane Honda spent hours trying to code another key.  They said it looked like the four re-codings had been used up, but the way that article reads, every time you reinitialise the system, you can get four new codings off the master key.

Sometimes you wonder if the experts know as much as we hope they do!  The exercise cost me $54 for a transponder blank, $32 to get it cut and $174 to attempt coding it- and I came away with an expensive key that would only open the panniers.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Some information.

The transponder key is part number: 35121-MBW-601.

The key is $50 from the local STealership.

They are plain blanks.  They don't even have the glossy Honda logo cover- you have to find your own way of keeping the transponder chip in.
