How many would be affected if this ride was moved to the Saturday 2nd instead of Sunday 3rd?

Cheers, Diesel

Doesn't bother me as I can't do either. However, I might see you on the road as I'm leading a family ride out through Dayboro, coffee stop at Pitstop Cafe, Woodford, Kenilworth and up to Mapleton for lunch. After lunch, heading down the hill via Bald Knob Road into Beerwah, via those magical twists at Peachester. Hope the weather is kind to all of us.
Cheers.
Skip.

Well, I don't want to do RuSTy out of a ride, as he has limited opportunity to attend them, so, we'll leave it as Sunday.

Of course, this is all weather permitting, but someone will need to put their hand up to lead out the ride.      :think1

Would love to get another ride in with you guys soon, but getting my arse across to Samford by 8am from Tamborine Mountain and back again at the end of the day is always a dampener for me. Some of us just ain't morning people! http://ozstoc.com/Smileys/default/hot.gif

I'll just hang in for another of your Southern rides down the track.

Have a good one.

OK - ride remains as Sunday 3rd.

People can either meet at Samford and follow the ride route to the Thunderbird Cafe, or meet at the Cafe around the given time.

Unfortunately - Neither Streak nor myself can make this ride.    :'(

There will be plenty more once this bluddy godorful rain gives it a rest!        :cuss

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Cheers, Diesel

Nor I guys as I need to conserve the finances for the rally.
And anyway it may be a mute point as the weather and roads may be against it.

Hands up those still wanting to ride tomorrow?

The forcast is for showers, and the RACQ website had cautions on some of the roads we'd travel.

I'll still be getting up to go, but will abort if the weather isnt friendly.

I've called off the ride I had organised. We were heading in a similar direction. Have a look at the BOM site. Not very ride friendly.

Bunch of fair weather fairies.

If anyone does decide to go - a reminder. The Thunderbird does not have eftpos facilities, cash only.
But there is a generic ATM across the road.

Yeah good onya Ian. How you going up on the hill? Getting washed away yet? I'm glad I'm not out in this rain on the bike.

Weather is a bit dampish up here in the hinterland but surprisingly we've only had 30mm in the last 24 hours.
Just seems to be a contant light drizzle.
Biggest problem is finding the way through the low cloud.
I told someone i would meet them at Thunderbird (don't have a contact) so will toodle down there in case they show.
Screen keeps most of the nasty wet stuff away.

Murphy's bloody Law.   :cuss
Checked all the weather reports, road conditions etc.
Trees down on Mapleton Nambour Rd. Possible flooding in the Mooloola valley and some other places.
And now that it's gone 10am there are blue skies to the north.
But there will be run off into the valley and parts of the road near Eudlo, Palmwoods and Mooloola would be getting water over them.
Going to head north to Noosa for the fry up.
Spent some time last week taking the dirt off the trundler and giving it a polish so will have to take it out. Doesn't look right with out a layer of road grime.
