The first time I rode as a pillion on the road I left a mark of my fused hands around the riders waist/chest, found the experince exillerating but was crapping my dax. In hindsight I was never taught what was expected of me, how the bike would behave, and naturally the rider (new boyfriend, not ST2UP) was out to impress
When Chris and I started to ride together pre-children we where on a sports bike, but we spent lots of practice time at low speed, bringing both our skills up to a level we felt comfortable, and getting our communication skills happening.
Now when people find out i enjoy nothing more than a pensioner nap on the back of the bike after lunch in the warm sun they are astounded.
So the only time I make any attempt to hang on his perhaps on a windy day when a b-double truck goes past, as far as a cuddle, well i steal as many off those as I can
