Drop the boys off at the Pool
« on: July 11, 2013, 06:24:19 PM »
G'Day STreakers, (there's more than one meaning for STreakers u know)

"Drop the boys off at the pool". A2Z came out with this one at Ebor.

At the time I said "You're going to do what? What are you talking about?"  :o

Allen said "Haven't u heard that one". Nope. "Means I'm going to the loo for No2's".

Anyway, I took his word for it. 15-love to A2Z.

On the way home to the Gong thru Armidale a group of us stopped at the Kentucky Cafe for some curly chips and coffee. There on the bench was a book of Australian slang called "Lingo".

I said to A2Z, "That saying better b in this book my friend" and he said "It will be" and it was. 30-love to A2Z.

After  arriving back home at the Gong I said to my 15 yo daughter "What does 'Drop the boys off at the pool" mean and Danika said without hesitation "It means go and do no.2's Dad". 40-love to A2Z.

My last chance was Mother Terese but even her saintliness knew what it meant. Game set and match to Allen.   :hatwave

That would be the less politically-correct ones...
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Well I was privy to the same conversation with these boys, the bit that Gregory left out was this all happened at the BREAKFAST TABLE !!!! Now fecal conversation is nothing new to me around the dinning table at work, but never thought it would poke its head out  :spank at a RTE.

Pockie - You're right but I don't have to apologise cause it wasn't breakfast - that was at Ebor. That meal at the Kentucky Cafe surely was Brunch and surely chocolate mousse is ok for discussion then?

This made me laugh. Brought back memories.  We said exactly the same thing in the Ambulance, only we gave birth to a Superintendent.  And i knew a few who I swear where born that way.  :crackup
