GROUP BUY - Middleton park brake
« on: October 04, 2013, 07:16:22 PM »
I have taken mine off the 1100 (94) and fitted to the 1300 (07) and it works a treat.  This is definitely one of the best farkles on the bike.

You know what I mean, you stop on a slight incline and you don't want to stop the engine in gear so it doesn't move, you can sort out some "stuff".

Stop for that photo without getting off the bike, but need two hands (Diesel excluded).

I have contacted the manufacturer and this is the reply:-

We stopped making them a while ago but a new batch could be made but you would need to order 60. They would be £20 each plus £40 shipping.

Regards

Richard.

So is there 60 people interested???

Sorry for the quality of this iphone clip, but first go at this techno stuff, but you'll get the jist.

May wont to turn the volume up (or off) so you can hear my monotone.

Nice work Abe.   :thumbsup   That's likely to be around $36AUD per unit.  If this get's off the ground, I'm in and am happy to put my cash up front.

Thanks Pete,

But some people asked me at Inverell, "what's that" so it got my  :think1.

60 isn't that many really.

Freight / Australian postage would be ???, anyway it's only money.

All up roughly allow $40-$45 per unit, to be on the safe side of budgeting.

I have received some information that is a little alarming about the manufacturer.
There was some issue's when purchased by our American brothers and sisters, regarding price and batch amounts.

I will send the manufacturer (the son now runs the business, I believe) an email, stating the info I have and await there response.

This shall be done over the next couple of days.
