I have Ulysses plate frames fitted now so I am used to something being around the plate. No 1 gets my vote :thumb

Number 1 does look classier.  Just like the bike. Have cards to give out if people want to know more.

I prefer Number two because my youngest brother looked at the sticker on my bike and said, "So you a member of a stoners club" with a big cheesy grin on his face, not unlike this . :grin

Both are pretty cool though and I would have either.

Cheers,
Gary

No. 1 is number one. The website address is large enough on both.

Here is where the voting is up to!

Image number 1 with Australian St Owners Club as 1 line: 25 (61%)

Image number 2 with Australian St Owners Club as 2 lines: 16 (39%)

Total Members Voted: 41

Voting closes: October 31, 2013, 07:59:28 PM

and here is some interesting information about number plates sizes:

Hi Graham,

The East Coast is all the same – Qld, NSW, Vic, Tas.

SA have their own size, WA have their own size. We can source these but they are more expensive as we don’t make the frames, we buy them in and print them.

Cheers

Scott

so i am getting them priced as well

We are going to do OzSTOC Number plate Frames!

I have added a poll so everyone can have a vote, i will run it for 48 hours to get a good line on what one to purchase, the one with the most votes is the one we will get  :thumb

it will be at the top of this conversation

could i suggest you put the web address in lower case, as it is in the real world, but keep the important part standing out, e.g. www.OzSTOC.com I think this will look even better on the frames... oh, number 1 for sure :-) it got my vote

also, perhaps you could look at making them a bit wider, as Allan said, 21cm for SA and perhaps WA? and have a wider border that can be removed for our pllates, left in there for the east coast???
cheers, Lee

I agree with the lower case lettering Lee, damn good point.

The supplier we have found is up to speed with all the plate sizes, he does 1 stock sizing, but he caters for all the states, we have worked out a purchase deal of

50 plates to suit the east coast & Northern Territory

10 plates to suit South Australia

20 plates to suit Western Australia

I think we are best keeping the nice simple size Frame, so it does not dominate look wise on people's bikes, but with the orange writing with stand out  :thumb

I am hanging out to get them, I think they are going to look awesome!

Far be it for me to say what's right and what's not, but with a mixture of both upper & lower case fonts, they do tend to stand out as is the case with an old Team Moto frame I recently removed.

Sort guys cost factors and the like, we are sticking with the plain text, the logo will make it to busy, and we would only be able to do it in single Colour anyway and it would end up tiny
