spotted red ST1100 at Grey Gum Cafe on Putty road on 24-3-12, gave card. Two St1300 red at eastern creek for historic races 25-3-12, left cards.

with black Givi top box heading north on Bruce Hwy around Caboolture BP Roadhouses 4.30pm Fri 30/3/12... and then... 8 minutes later....

Another IDENTICAL one heading west on Old Bay Road - Decepetion Bay 4.38pm (no they weren't the same one, it would have had to have TARDIS time travel properties)

Spotted stacks of St11 & 1300's at the Ulysses AGM in Mildura over the last week. I handed out all my cards to the riders who hadnt heard of Ozstoc. I ran out, mostly because someone is letting them across the QLD border without giving them a card Ha ha.

So hopefully we should get a few more members online :)

spotted Shaun out at the Pioneer Museum at Highfields in front of my shops workwear display, he is on his way to the sunshine coast, showed him some of the old BSA motorcycles including an old single cylinder job that had him intrigued!

Main street Peterborough, SA about 12;30pm.

We went down the local supermarket and just as I parked the bike a red 1300 went past us and pulled up about a dozen cars further up. We got mobile again and pulled up beside them.

Turns out the couple are from Broken Hill and they have just gone for their first long ride and on the way back home. I handed over a card as well. He also mentioned there's a few ST's in The Silver City as well.

That's the first ST I've seen in four months apart from mine that is and Heather fell in love with it and it looks if ever there's a time I need a newer bike then the battle is half won.......lol.......

The first meeting was purely by chance. Had I not gone down the shop a second time it would have been a non-event.

Heather and I went down to the hotel where Mitch was spending the night for the huge sum of $40. We spent about 1.5 to 2 hours with him. We both checked out the 1300A . Heather like the idea of his new extended pillion foot pegs (???). The highway wings look a lot better then the picture shows. Overall I still think the 1300 appears larger than the 1100 but that could be difference in styling.

To sum up, Heather fell in love with a red 1300 earlier in the day. After seeing Mitch's bike it's "we are getting one" so that might happen in the next year or two.

Mitch is an ok guy and we might see him on his return trip and he should be in Blackheath sometime Thursday (hope I got that right).

Interesting, as I think the ST13 looks smaller than the ST11, at least when riding.
