Hi all,

Just joined today on recommendation from a friend and member of this site - I have enjoyed reading through the forums today - that is where most of my day has gone :)

My ride is a Red 2003 ST1300 - had it since Jan 2021 and I am loving it, I am riding it most days - about 150KM round trip - it is my first and only touring bike, I came from a XL 250..... which is still road registered, that is my run-around.

When we have more freedom, I am planning to do weekend get-aways and interstate rides on the ST.

I look forward to reading more in the forums and messaging with many of you.

What part of Melbourne are you from? Hope to see you at a ride, maybe next month. Well you know. Someone has to be optomistic.

I am from eastern burbs, but been commuting across to West side and South East.

I tell you, I wish they would finish work on the freeways - South Eastern and M80 always have on-going road works, the works seems to take forever.....the eastern freeway and eastlink is the only decent one at the moment that I enjoy riding on, but I use all 3 to mix it up a bit.

I share your optimism.....and look forward to a ride in the near future.

Another OzSTOC welcome here, this one from the leafy NE suburb of St Helena. 

You have a few other OzSTOC members around you in Croydon & Mooroolbark, further afield in the Dandenongs & Lynbrook, as well as many scattered around regional VIC.   

Each month (on average) there is an RTE (Ride to Eat), but COVID has got in the way of this for the past 18 months or so.  As things get back to some form of normality, these will probably start-up again.  Some details of past RTE's are on the link, this will give you an indication of what can be expected.
