The heat thing on ST's  is funny.

 Before I bought an ST I read dire warnings of heat from the engine cooking your nether regions. I have ridden my bike on 40 deg days and never had an issue.

And yet my pie warmers, which now have been insulated and waiting to go back on the bike will make a cold bottle of water hot almost as quick as a microwave. It seems.

I put my iPhone in the right hand pocket once, and it cooked it.... completely dead.. !! never mind, the Apple Store gave me a new one for free :) sshhh... :p
