Freefalling through a rainbow

I have witnessed this firsthand many years ago, skydiving into misty cloud at midday, and seeing my own shadow on the clouds in the centre of the rainbow

So it turns out its cruise week in Darwin. 5 cruise liners in 5 days. This is the Radiance of the Seas. Nowhere near as big as the Queen Mary 2, but still pretty impressive

Umm... interesting pic.  The way I see it, there are at least two big things (faces).
But the bike is supposed to be in front of them.       |-i

Cruise ship docked here this morning... there was one here just a couple weeks ago, but I was out of town.

Couldnt get any closer, roads were blocked to traffic to allow pedestrian access only.

We're on the way to the Rally, with a small detour to say hi to friends.

Today, we passed through Mooball, NSW, and we couldn't go past this Big Thing without stopping for a photo. You can find it just across the road from the Moo Moo Café.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the Rally.

I had to do a double take the first time I saw it.  :eek
The funds raised could only buy the bits above the water line, so she now sails with a concrete bottom.
Commander Holbrook was the captain of the AE1, Australia's first submarine, and won his VC at Gallipoli when he took AE1 past the Turkish minefields in the Dardanells straits and sunk a couple of their ships, before returning through the minefield back to safety. The town changed it's name to Holbrook in his honour from the original Germantown. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a couple of years since I finished school).

Does anyone know what this tower/ silo/ chimney thing is on the Peak Downs Highway just west of Eton?

The Big Wine Bottle McLaren Vale SA.
I've only just discovered this, which is in my patch, but is quite hidden away.   Biggest bottle of Church Block that I've ever seen.   :beer

The second picture was taken shortly after it was completed, and looking a little less tired.
