So Sicman's Birthday is 15th December but thats too close to Chrissy to get us all together so I am throwing a surprise 3 day bender ( He know's as he is helping :wink1 ) over the October long weekend. Its just gunna be about sitting around with good friends with some good food and grog to help the food slide down :-) Let us know if you can make it. Dont worry about presents. Bring sleeping bags, tents, swags, camper trailers, bus's, motor homes etc so you can bunk down. It doesnt matter whether you can be here for 5 minutes or 3 days but we want to see you here to celebrate the 1st half of his life :-)
Main event will be dinner from 6pm Saturday 1st. Lots of love and best wishes PitSTop ;-*
So as Boss Dearest said throw your name on the list below if you can join us for 5 mins or 3 days. Plenty of room for camping onsite. Diesel's TTE tour south will be wandering thru West Wyalong and camping over on the Saturday night so feel free to tag along with them.
:think1 If you thought the 1st 50 years was crazy hang around for the next 50 - Its only gunna get better with age :thumbs

Due to our average yearly rainfall now being double this year so far :eek, it looks like camping out in the back yard areas will be out :well(Already had a bogged plumbers vehicle to the axle). :cuss
Even more rain is forecast and we have had 10mm today.
Camping will now have to be on stretcher beds or swags in the shed and camper trailers in the garaport.
Just thought I would give a heads up seeing its now so wet out here :thumb

Another 70mm this week just gone and we are expecting a further 50 to 100mm this week coming. The Newell Hwy is covered by flood water between West Wyalong and Forbes and will be for a few weeks yet :eek
Access to West Wyalong from the North will mean travelling down thru Bathurst, Cowra, Grenfell to Marsden turnoff 35kms north of West Wyalong.
From the east Yass to Temora to Barmedman to West Wyalong (Temora to Bardmedman has multiple sections of water across road at depths of 1 inch to 1 foot depending on local falls - If too much local rain then access will need to be from the south for motorbikes)
From the south travel from Wagga or Narrandera to Mirrool then up the Newell Hwy to West Wyalong ( No water in this section ).
No weather forecast for the weekend yet but will update if any changes :wink1

What's the prediction for the road coming in on the road from Rankins Springs? I recall there are some patches just a few kilometers west of West Wyalong that flood.

Pete - Just one flood warning on the live traffic site for an area between Weethalle and Ranking springs. It states slow to 60kms per hr in water on that section. :thumb
