ME is in Atheron Pockey, it gets cold up there, that's why it's the atherton tablelands, it might be west of Cairns but it has an altitude ranging between 500 and 1,280 m (1,600 and 4,200 ft) in the old scale.

I've had a few chilly nights up there. I don't think I've ever been there without it raining.

It's quite pretty up there.... Actually, it would be a great venue for a national rally one year.

My ruse has been exposed goddammit - i was angling for multiple shirts Pockey !

Err, as you so delicately pointed out, i have returned to the original moniker. On several " to attend " lists as both so it made sense to return to the " original " .

As for my multiple personalities , i will need at least 9 shirts , while the other 4 stay at home & mind the shop

Multiple shirts aside....We are looking at a Record amount of people in 2014, 75-80 people is a real possibility!

Diesel and Marianne are designing the shirts at the moment, if we can get 75-80 people in the photo with all those ST's it will be something else!!

We are already very much that style, the qualifications of being a member of OzSTOC are as Follows....

Must Own an ST
Must have Owned and ST
Must be Thinking of purchasing an ST
Must have Seen an ST
Must have known someone with an ST
Must know of the existence of an ST

  and once you have joined.....your a member for life, regardless of what you ride.....

Yer Johno, don't be silly, it's all about what the club believes and feels not necessarily the brand of bike we ride, coincidentally it just happens a lot of us ride ST's and you used to.

And just to clarify ST2UP's post you only need to meet 1 of those criteria.

Does everyone remember the discussion earlier in this thread? Friends of ours, Jim and Laurel wish to come along and join the Rally, however they own a Honda Fury VTX1300.

The problem was there is no luggage capacity, fuel range is 180k max and Laurel as Pillion would have her legs up like a grasshopper all of the way.

Yep, Jim is that determined to go that he has had a sidecar installed. The Side car has a fuel cell underneath.. Fuel problem solved. The Side car has a boot that holds plenty of luggage ..... Problem solved.

And it has a comfortable riding position ...... Problem solved.
