Scarp and I are going to have breakfast in Beverley this coming Sunday.
True to form, we will be there around 8.30 in the moaning.
This way we get home before lunch so we can do some chores around the house. The curse of working 6 days a week.
If anyone's interestered, look for the charcoal and blue ST's parked in the main street.
Gavo, don't forget your wallet. :p

Reminds me of the old joke:
An old man walks into a pub in Scotland, his feet shuffling, his back bent. He drags himself onto a stool and orders a beer.
Placing the full glass in front of him, the bartender inquires upon his sad face.
The man answers with a smoky and trembling voice and a Scottish accent:
Ah, tell ya man! This pub, this very pub we're just sitting in. I built it, with me own hands! But do they call me the Pubmaker? Naa!
See the wall over there, that protects our town? I built it, with me own hands! But do they call me the Wallmaker? Naa!
And the bridge, you know, that crosses our river, I built it, with me own hands! But do they call me the Bridgemaker? Naa!
But I tell ya, man! ONE GOAT! ONE GOAT!

That was a great ride.
Dave, Brock, Noel, Rob, Bill, John, Yorkie and myself.
Bill, John,Noel and I started off at the Gull servo on Brookton hiway. We left at 7.30. The temp gauge on the 1300 said 5 degrees. Thank goodness for heated grips, just to rub it in.
We arrived at 8.30 in Beverley to find Brock and Rob already there to greet us.
Wayne from the Beverley Country Kitchen, ph96461524, looked after us a treat.
Eggs sunny side or scrambled, multigrain, brown or white bread, all catered for.
No spare ewes though, next time maybe.
Thanks to all for a great morning.
:blu13
P.s. Must do something about so many white bikes.
-
Yes a good time had by all I think, my ambient temp gauge was showing 4c for a while but then when I got into the sunshine it was a balmy 9c

I was trying to find you JohnoJ, in the picture, but all those fluro jackets confused me, at least at Middleton you were the only one (I think)
Sounds like a great day was had by all.
