Hi Guys,

It has been a while since I have been on here or seen any of you guys.  I am planning a ride out on Sunday February 15th, 2015.  Not sure if anyone has done the (what I call) the KingLake National Park Circuit, it is a beautiful twisty ride from Whittlesea through Strath Creek with a bit of Highway Driving back through Upper Plenty back to Whittlesea.  Mostly 80km/h and 100km/h roads.

I do see there is a planned RTE on the 14th which I unfortunately cannot make, but if anyone would like to join me I would like to see you there.

I plan to leave from the Caltex Servo at Whittlesea from about 10am (depending on how many want to come) and do the circuit, I plan to stop at Strath Creek for a break (the road gets really twisty from there) and again just after the 10 minute ride along the highway (riding at 110km/h with cross winds take it out of me a little) at Wandong and then on from there back to the Caltex Servo to finish.  The ride should take approximately 2 hours with the breaks maybe a little longer.

I have my fingers crossed for the weather, but it looks like it is going quite warm and sunny.

If you would like to join me, please let me know.

I have attached a map of the run.

J

Sounds like a great ride. Unfortunately, my wife would kill me if I took off riding both days hahaha
