As advised in the OzSTOC News and Events section we are implementing a new position into the club, the role of the National Rally Co-Ordinator.
This role has evolved as the shear numbers of people attending our National Rallies each year has been so overwhelming and inspirational from a bike specific motorcycle club of only 4 years that the organisation of such an event needs to have a focused hands on event co-ordinator and OzSTOC is meeting this challenge head on to ensure we provide our members with best possible National Rally experience.
Like any event it's only as successful as the key members selected to be involved and provide a skill set to provide the information, research and local knowledge through their valued commitment.
Once the State or Territory has been selected and a rough region proposed by the OzSTOC team, the rough region will be announced at the previous years National Rally. The National Rally Co-Ordinator then goes to work and approaches the members of that area to put together a functioning steering team to pull the rally package together following a proven design format supplied by OzSTOC. As a few members can attest, the research and commitment in compiling this package in the past has been a rewarding experience well received and appreciate by all with in the club.
So I would like to Introduce the new OzSTOC National Rally Co-Ordinator: StinkyPete

Please make him welcome to the role :clap

Congrats Pete. Looking forward to toowoomba.

Thanks everyone, and I trust that I can live up to the high standards that have been set.
My role will be to support the local OzSTOC members who will remain the principal NatRally organizers, and to ensure that all is in readiness To that end I am already liaising with the QLD team as they get things in place for Toowoomba. It looks like being an amazing event. Come along and lets see how many ST's we can get in one place.

Need a new photo with lights on the bike though! The more certain tasks are spread around the more fun can be had by all :hatwave
It only seems like the other day that Streak rang me to see if I would 'volunteer' to get rides happening all over as we had reached 100 or more members and wanted to see if others might like to join us.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement and support.
With dedicated local teams working hard, my involvement may be less than I imagined. Recent communications suggest that Toowoomba is well on the way to being sorted, so a big Well Done the SEQ team. :-++
