PitSTop raised this point tonight  - " :think1 Now we have over 1000 members if each of those members donated $2 to the blanket ride fund then we would raise over $2000 to purchase blankets for those in need".
Damn thats a good thought. :thumb
So if you is one of our 1000 members and can afford to donate $2 or more to help a brother or sister in need here are the details:-
The BSB & Account numbers for monetary donations towards the purchase of blankets is :-
St Vinnies
BSB 062786
Acct 000014760
Please put OzSToc 253 in the description so the money is allocated to the right area.

Gratefully  :clap

Big thank you to Bernadis IGA for their generous contribution and for the effort made by PitSTop to arrange their support. But this isn't a free breakfast, we will still take a few dollars as we would normally and donate to the purchase of blankets for the fabulous work done by St Vinnies.

PitSTop wanted help to increase the supply of blankets as last year they ran out of blankets for people in need. Unfortunately its not even winter yet and her area has already been depleted and now has zero blankets to hand out  :eek

:think1 Not even winter yet her blanket supply is at ZERO.  :fp

Imagine being in a position where you needed blankets to keep you and the kids warm and there were none to warm you up  :eek :-[
These people cannot afford gas or electricity bills so blankets are their saviour  :wink1
If you can help in anyway to provide a blanket or donate some funds towards purchase of blankets then now is the time to help  Wot thuh

Its getting exciting - Only 5 more sleeps till the OzSToc Blanket Ride RTE Weekend

From the OzsToc FB page:-

"With the OzSToc Blanket Ride Tally sitting at 2, word is in that Stinky Pete and Fish are coming over from SA, with nearly 40 baby blankets, cot sheets, and and several full size blankets; And Pockey & ST2UP from Northern NSW, have these beauties sitting on their dining room table ready for the trip to Neville. There is also cash donations to be added up which will go towards purchasing blankets for brother & sisters in need

We reckon the Blanket Tally of 2 will be blown away :-)

Can you help us?
Cheers

The bike is packed for Friday's departure, and with so many blankets there's barely any room left for my stuff  .......  and I'm expecting to collect more donations tomorrow.... :fp
Fish and I look like having a cold wet ride over, as showers are forecast across the Mallee on Friday, and Neville's forecast for Saturday is 12 degrees and rain.

That was the first OZSTOC blanket ride, so "Where" and "When" is next years "Blanket Ride", so it can be added to the the Ride Calendar.

Great effort to all concerned  :thumbs

What about the Pub and Motel you mentioned at Tumut, surely the meals want take as long to get  :well, unless STimpy orders garlic bread again  :whistle :whistle  :rofl
