Ciao, your girl looks great.  An ale one day on the road somewhere sounds great to me.  I hope that you have good security if you know what I mean.
Cheers

Yes...Shannons :wink1...and I will honour that promised Ale Dave, I occasionally make it to Sydney...or if you have cause to visit us Mexicans  :thumb

I last visited Classic Style about 6 months ago, took a couple of old Motorcyclists down there for a day out...worth a visit if your in the vicinity...has hundreds of bikes, pricey but negotiable...I bought a '35 Model 16 Sunbeam from him 10 years ago...Interestingly, the time I was there last coincided with an article Jim Scaysbrook featured in Old Bike on a Trident from Classic Style and at the time they had at least 6-8 T150's and T160's lined up there...was told within about 3 months of the mags release, they sold the lot :eek

Giggles aside, 23k for a '69 Trident is pushing the $$$ a bit...I for one though, hopes he gets close to it :grin :grin :grin

'79 750 Meriden Bonnie...would think that's one of last when the Staff were running the show? I have used a few NOS parts on the T150 I have been building that came from a huge warehouse in the States that had all the remaining Meriden stock after the factory finally gave in and closed...I am thinking that this bike was part of that stash..You still see the odd part or un-stamped crankcase / frame pop up on ebay from time to to time...the ray gun mufflers I fitted on the bike above had the manufacturer stickers still on em...25-5-69 :)

Anyway if your in the market for an 'ol banger to ride or restore...you should find what your looking for there.

Cheers Dick :)

Hi Greencan,

Long story short, I bought a headlight protector from Keith Munro in the UK, so the first one didn't make it, so Keith sent another one (dam good man)  Anyway we go emailing about "postie" bikes and then he sent me the link to classic style, which is his mate, so go figure.

Cheers
