OzSTOC Pucks ?????

Hi Guys and Girls,

Just surfing around the net and came across this site that makes custom side stand Pucks.

Could be a thought for the shop. Not that expensive, however the initial investment may be a little bit.

What does everyone think?

Well puck me..       ... I already have one on a curly lead that I attach to the handlebars so I don't forget it. It's great on soft ground and has saved the sidestand sinking into the ground on many occasions. It would be neat to have one with OzStoc on it.

Even more useful, Bikebear, IMHO, is the ability to use the lead to recover the puck without having to bend down. I didn't see any leads on the commercial ones, though one could be easily attached. I'd be pucked without my lead.

I put the curly lead on it myself, made it using a safety cutoff curly lead used on outboards.

 I have had many small metal plates that I left behind, 
 A puck on a STring  sounds like a good thing

I use a bit of 3/8 marine ply, about 150 X 75, with a length of cord attached to one end. The free end of the cord is secured to the left handlebar when the puck is in use. When no longer needed, the cord is used to retrieve the puck and then wound around the ply. It is stored in the left pie warmer, ready for next use.

My current version is not particularly aesthetic, but it works well.

Maybe I will inscribe it with "OzSTOC" using a texta.... or brand it with an iron.... or CNC rout it.... or 3D print it.... or mould using polyurethane (or polyester) resin, or......
