WendyL - off the road for a while
« on: October 07, 2020, 02:27:36 PM »
I’ve had some pretty major knee surgery yesterday and am looking at 6 weeks recovery plus 3-6 months rehab. Fingers crossed I’ll be back on the bike in time for Mudgee.

This video is a animation of the procedure I had. No blood and gore, but I’ve had a few people say it’s cringe-worthy.

Hope everything goes well Wendy and make sure you keep up with the physio regardless of how hard it feels.

Riding is definitely the best physio!  Get well soon!
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Carrol and I hope you have a quick recovery with as little pain as possible and manage to be back on the bike with plenty of time before the rally :runyay

Thanks for adding the Video, it was very informative and explains the reason for such a long recovery time.

Cheers
