Something like the Esk Bakery in WA
« on: March 02, 2014, 01:31:08 PM »
Hello again,
I hear on here so much of the Esk Bakery over in QLD and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on places like that around here?
Esk is basically 100km inland from Brisbane so a leisurely 1 hour ride.
How about you throw some suggestions of great places / atmosphere that can be ridden to easily within say 1 1/2 hours of Perth CBD.

My Suggestions:
Bindoon Bakery, Scottalian Hotel, Victoria Hotel in Toodyay, Ravenswood Hotel, The Mill Cafe in York.

Any of those are popular, as is the Coke cafe in Toodyay. All it needs is some one to put up the time n Place Pezz.

Pick one and go for it.

Also NewNorcia hotel

Yeh, I like the New Norcia Hotel as well, but is a little further out than the range I had suggested.
The Coca Cola Cafe gets a little crowded and I find it hard to justify the prices which is why I left it out.

With my busy weekend schedule - I'm sure a 50km ride will be just has hard for me to organise as a 200km ride. However, all suggestions are good. I am pretty easy to accommodate food-wise now though - having lost 13kg  o:) I'd be skipping the cakes anyway - so anywhere that serves coffee I'd be happy with.  8)
