Looks like Google is upsetting the maps again. Same result on Chrome using WIN 8.1 and using Edge on Heather's WIN10 PC

I had troubles with the facebook map for months but it finally got rectified a week or so ago. Hopefully this won't take so long.

I just tried it, and it is still editable. I hadn't moved my marker when we moved a few years ago. It's a wonder I've been able to find my way home!!
