Title: Fork Tubes
Post by: Bikebear on September 30, 2013, 07:58:29 PM
The front forks on my recently acquired 1100PS are pretty bad, the tubes are quite pitted and rusty so therefore unusable for a rebuild. I've been looking on ebay and found these.. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281066135680?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281066135680?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649)

I've found info that the ST1100 (41mm) tubes are 633mm long so the difference is minimal in that respect. I know theyare cheap and made in China but the rebuild is a limited budget affair.

Question for the brains trust is, would these work for the ST1100? They are designed to be used in a Honda so I imagine they could be suitable.
