FarRiders has re-emerged!
« on: September 08, 2022, 04:04:46 PM »
The reborn FarRide site is here, but it's now Far Road.
Long story, but any FarRiders can go there and join up to continue the saga.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

A new empty forum with no historical chatter preserved.  I’m not impressed yet.  :angry-old-man-smiley-emoticon

Sounds like a re-creation without access to the old data. If the old site was taken down, there may be no backup kept.

Yeah. Reading between the lines of Kwaka’s comments on the new forum it seems the transition was rough in the extreme.

My 2 cents worth.
Far Road has in my opinion nothing to do with FarRiders. Kwaka has started a forum to discuss long distance riding.

Folks might like to check-in there and form their own opinion about that.  For me, there is quite a bit of continuity from FarRiders, but it's acknowledged that it's not the same thing.
