Well after leaving Wendy and Brookester's place I've been to lots of places but my mind is screwed up and I have to check spotwalla to see where. I've been posting pics on MY Facebook page when I can so go have a look.
I'm waiting to hear from 1 of my Specialists in Sydney to arrange bloods and meds here in Cairns so looks like 'll be around here for a week or so..and  my heads all over the place.
My link to watch my spot is on FB too..  sorry everyone i haven't had the  enthusiasm to be writing dride reports but pictures say it all.
I'm going south and then back across to Cloncurry next

Arrrh G’Day folks I’m currently in Cairns as I needed to get medication I had run out of 10 days ago. I saw the Dr at Cairns Base Hospital and was dispensed 2 months supply. At the request of my Dr in Liverpool I also had to give pathology my bloods for testing as I have missed a few months now of monitoring since CONVICT19 or COVID19 hit us and the lockdowns began.
The rain has began up here in the north and school holidays start today so I think I’ll do a little sightseeing over the weekend driving up to Cooktown, if the roads aren’t flooding then I’ll turn around and head south and start heading back to The Curry and Brookester’s and Wendy’s to house sit.
Honestly, I prefer travelling on Motorcycles than motorhoming. It may have more convenience but I’d be enjoying it more if I had BEEstY towing the coffin.
Maybe as I travel more I will settle into this new norm for me.

It's so good to hear about your travels Johnny.    As we face life's challenges we work out what is the "new" normal and live our lives within any limitations we face.   You are a true inspiration.   :thumbsup

I can recommend Cape Tribulation Camp grounds. We spent 3 nights there last August. We went snorkelling on the reef with Ocean Safari just up the road.

We also walked to Mason's Cafe were they have a clear freshwater swimming hole. (Salty free)

They also have fire pits and a bar and wood fired pizza.

You do have to go across the Daintree River Ferry. From memory $35 return.

An update is due I think
I went up to Cooktown after the Daintree then slowly made my way to Cloncurry where I am currently house sitting at Wendy and Brooksters l👀king after Pidgee and the house.
I’m staying a few weeks when Wendy comes back to help her around the house etc. Then I’ll start my way back to Gympie and Brisbane before possibly heading back over the NSW border and home. I am starting to get homesick and want to get the trailer registered as it ran out today and is sitting at my brothers house. I’ll then get BEEstY secured inside and hook up the trailer and be off again before the KHUNTZ behind raise my blood pressure to boiling again. Hopefully more borders will be open by then.
I’ve been posting photos on Facebook and my page is open to the public so if you want l👀k me up Johnny Whitehead my profile pic has changed to an Orange sunset behind my mug. I have tried hopefully successfully to add a couple of photos here also
