Nah, it didn't work for me.  Years ago I was sucked in by what I actually believed was a cornering course, but it was in effect a track day.  My poor Ruby (previous ST13) was revving the whole time between corners, trying to act like a racing bike.  Can't recommend it at all.  When you get a chance, have a look at the tacho in the video- it's red-lining much of the time.
No doubt about the rider- he does well rounding up the field.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

The organisers required me to remove panniers and mirrors and tape the headlight glass.  I had to pay $75 to rent a full leather racing suit for the day.  Obviously much more risk-averse here in Oz than elsewhere.

Years ago I did a few laps of the Phillip Island circuit on my ol' CX. Back then I didn't have to do anything to the bike.
Think I just rode in jeans too....ahh, the good ol' days...lol.

Wow. He’s a better rider than I am.

Have flicked this video to my kid brother for comment. He rides a Diavel.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

You're very kind, but I think that must have been years ago.  I'm old and sedentary now.
Unlike Diesel who still thinks he's a kid!    |-i
