We are 2 Months out from National Rally 2017 in the little sea/river side hamlet of Wooli in NSW.
If you haven't attended an OzSTOC National Rally yet here is how it goes.....
Friday Night Meet & Greet from 5pm at the Communal Camp kitchen. This one at Wooli is the "Best on the Coast" with 2 stories undercover with a glorious coastal breeze, able seating on picnic tables/chairs, a Kiosk and a bar with a couple of beers on tap and a selection of wines and soft drinks.....even Tea & Coffee will be on supply 24 hrs a day for the event
We start with nibbles (provided) and Drinks (get your bloody own
) and then a $5 dinner (home made Burgers) so you can continue to wonder around and meet & greet old friends and make new ones......just cope a squat and shoot the breeze with fellow OzSTOCer's.
Its here we will give you a round up of the events for the weekend.....
Saturday morning will be a Hot or Cold Brekkie at $10/$5 p/head at the Camp kitchen....more yak yak time with the option of participating in some bike maintenance sessions. Roadside Tyre repair and ST Seat options for you to throw your leg over and have a sit (Rider & Pillion) and other topics will be covered.
Saturday Lunch RTE: This will be conducted as a traditional RTE. We will advise the location which is at a River Side Tavern and give you a number of route/time options to get to the RTE for a 12:30 meal....you can travel solo or join one of the groups of your choice. You may notice this isn't being promoted as an OzSTOC group ride for lunch.
Saturday Afternoon for those who are not asleep under a shady tree in the coastal breeze or having a swim will be a Swap Meet with members encouraged to bring alone there no longer wanted bike related bits & pieces to swap,sell,buy etc...
Saturday Night is our more formal dinner (pants and shoes required) at the Tavern 100mtrs from the BIG4 with a 2 course meal, club awards (Member of the Year, Bike of the Year, Longest Ridden to Rally and Rally funniest moment) and Guest our speaker Tex & Bundy (with a little surprise)
Sunday Breakfast: same as previous day.....many will start to travel home today.
For those that are staying on there will be another RTE out to Brooms Heads and a Fish'n'Chip lunch under the Norfolk pines.....great swimming beach here and a lagoon and even the blow hole rock pools (short walk).
Sunday afternoon for those still active we have Cricket lines up or at any time during your stay there are free Canoes, Paddle boards, Paddle bikes available at the BIG4 to explore the tranquil shallow Wooli river from the camp.
Sunday Dinner: The traditional Pizza night with exceptional Pizza's cooked on sight by the BIG4 team....naturally the Bar will be open for your drinking, dining and dancing pleasures....
This year the NatRally emphasis is on a casual coastal theme with it all being about lazing around chatting with your fellow members in a relaxed setting with a true summer holiday feel.
It doesn't matter what you ride...you have enjoyed ST's at some point or you wouldn't be reading this, come and join us at Wooli.....your $50 Registration fee will get you a 2018 NatRally Polo Shirt, Rally cloth patch and pin.
There will be members onsite from Thursday through to Tuesday if you wish to come earlier or stay and play.....
