ARAI HELMETS
« on: March 01, 2024, 09:46:41 PM »
Came across this video today on the manufacture of Arai helmets and thought some might like to check it out.
Although I found the bloke gushing on irritating as all hell, it's still worth a watch.

I had an Arai helmet back in the 90's and loved it, in fact I still have it.
I also have an Arai Freddie Spencer replica helmet from the 80's sitting out in the garage...

I would probably have bought another Arai but as they don't build modular helmets, I moved to a Shoei...

We just bought a couple of new shoeis too.  I too had an Arai in my youth but they didn’t get a look in this time since they don’t make any models with built in sun visor.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

I'd forgotten about that....that was another reason I went for a Shoei.  :thumb

I bought an Arai 2 years ago and the sunvisor is an add on over the clear visor I like the light weight compared to my 2 old Shark helmets.
